The Electronic & Information Engineering Department offers 12 majors in total. 2.1 Software Technology

A. Majors introduction

Through three years of university study, students will develop the skills of programming, software testing, and database application.

2.2 Computer Network Technology (website construction and network engineering)

A. Majors introduction

The curriculum system of this major includes two aspects:

1. Network Engineering and system integration, which account for about two-thirds of the total hours. It mainly cultivates the student to have the theory and practice ability on various types of large and medium-sized network planning and design, bidding, construction, system configuration and commissioning, operation management and maintenance, project management and supervision.

2. Network Programming, which accounts for about a third of the total study hours of professional courses. It mainly cultivates the students to have the theory and the practice ability of the network programming design, development and maintenance.

2.3 Internet of Things Application Technology

A. Majors introduction

The students of this major will be cultivated with advanced techniques, who will have the occupational qualities and gain the knowledge of electronic techniques, wireless communication technology and bonding technology, and also, they have the core competence of the application and maintenance of wireless network such as Zigbee, Wi-Fi and 4G, the ability of system integration and operation management of Internet of Things. Meanwhile, it cultivates the abilities of analysis, learning, system integration, problem solving and the ability of the practice of the project, cooperation and communication.

A. Major introduction

This major mainly cultivates the students to have the knowledge of fundamental and the analytical method of electrical technology, electric power automation technology and other kinds of electrical equipment and automation equipment. It cultivate the high-skilled applied talents who can work on power supply and consumption, all kinds of electrical equipment, the installation, design, debugging, maintenance, technical reform, product development and technical management of electric control and automatic system. Meanwhile, it cultivates the high quality and high skilled people, who are familiar with the electrical standard and process specification, grasp the Routine Control of Electric Device technique, PLC Control technique and Network Control technique.

Electrical automation technology is aimed to train the operator and maintainer of all kinds of manufacturing machine and electric control system. The graduates will work as the technologists of installation, debugging, partial design and transform for the electrical control system and manufacturing; or employed by the technology development company to work as the technologist to do the electric automation with new technology and new equipment and some related products’ development, the technologist of design, installation, debugging of some equipments; even they can be technical applied person who can work on the production, maintenance, technical support, sales and management in the field of Industrial Auto-Control System, Environmental Care, the field of Automation Device of Power System or Industrial Processes Control.

2.7 Production Process Automation Technology

a. Major Introduction

This major is built on the development of the Electrical Automation Technology that we have already set. On the basis of professional platform, the automation instrumentation and the installation, operating and maintenance of process control system for PLC, DCS which regarded as the training objective. It has 6 training equipments of Process Control and the practical training of DCS, owns 100 training equipments of SIEMENS PLC (S7-200/300), 32 industrial network training equipments, 100 equipments in the plant of low-voltage apparatus installation and debugging. Moreover, a new training room for the instrument and craft and a training room for the network and integrated wiring were built. b. 2.8 Numerical Control Equipment Application and Maintenance

A. Major Introduction

The major of Numerical Control Equipment Application and Maintenance was set in 2004. The former is CNC technology (the equipment maintenance and management direction) which was the key construction project major of our country. It was identified as Numerical Control Equipment Application and Maintenance according to the major catalog of Ministry of Education in 2009. It was identified as the key construction projects of our college in 2009. This major was awarded to the Characteristic Specialty in the machinery industry in 2010. It was identified as the key construction major to promote the ability of industrial service by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. With the financial support, the condition of this major has improved significantly. So far the training equipments are worth more than 4,500,000 RMB. This major mainly cultivates the students to be familiar with relevant national industry standards and technology criteria, grasp the electrical control technology, numerical control processing technology, computer numerical control technology, numerical control equipment renovation and maintenance and other related knowledge and skills. The graduates will have CNC equipment selection, installation, debugging and mistakes diagnosis, maintenance, maintenance and technical service ability with high-quality.

2.9 Building Intelligent Engineering Technology

A. Major introduction

It mainly cultivates the practical senior technical personnel and talented manager with the well comprehension qualities, who have a firm foundation of the fundamental principal and professional skill, get hold of the design of Building Intelligent Engineering, know the basic theory and skills of building operation and management. Besides, they can work on the design, installation, debugging and operation maintenance of Building Intelligent Engineering and the large scale property management.

The graduates in this major can be engaged in electrical subsystems, fire control, security, building automation, integrated wiring and other subsystem design, product selection, installation and debugging in the intelligent building system integration company; in security, monitoring, fire control system of operation management and maintenance in the relevant enterprises and institutions; in engineering management, building automation and ELV equipment installation work in building construction enterprises. They can also work in the intelligent building professional production company on the performance test, technical support, after-sales service; or work in the property management enterprises, engage in intelligent building equipment and system operation, maintenance (repair), and modification.

2.10 Communication Technology

a. Major Introduction

Communication Technology, also known as Communication Engineering (or Information Engineering, Communications Engineering, formerly called Telecommunication Engineering or Weak Current Engineering) , is an important branch of Electronic Engineering. It is also one of the basic subjects. The Communication Technology focuses on the communication in the process of information transmission, the principle and application of signal processing. The Communication Engineering mainly focuses on transferring the information from the sending end (information source) to one or several receiving end (information sink) by the electric pulse in the form of electromagnetic wave, sound wave or light wave. Whether the receiving end can recognize the information correctly or not, it depends on loss-level in the transmission. Signal processing is an important link of communication engineering, which includes filtration, coding and decoding.

2.12 Power Electronic Technology

A. Major introduction

The Power Electronic Technology is an emerging technology. It is overlapped by three subjects, the Electricity, Electronic and Control Theory, which can transfer and control the electric energy. No matter for the transformation of traditional industry (power, machinery, mining and metallurgy, transportation, chemical industry, light textile, etc.) or for the high technology industry (aerospace, laser, communication, robot, etc.) and energy efficient utilization, the Power Electronic Technology is crucial. At present, the development of new energy and environmental protection industry has been promoted to the height of national strategy. As the key technology of new energy power generation, the Power Electronic Technology will have a promising future.
